Legal identity
Vecumnieku Daudzbērnu Ģimeņu Biedrība "Saulgrieze" is a biedrība (association) registered in Latvia under registration number 40008087021.
Family-oriented purpose
From its name onwards — daudzbērnu ģimeņu biedrība, an association of large families — the organization's purpose has been to represent and support families raising several children in the Vecumnieki area and beyond.
The Skolas soma (School Bag) initiative
HistoricalHistorical public materials associate the association with the “Skolas soma” initiative, which focused on helping children start the school year with the bags and supplies they need. This is presented as historical background; its current status will be confirmed by the association.
